It’s not true that the bar will only serve food that rhymes with Blu and view, but … guests will be able to nosh on fondue with their drinks at the bar on the 23rd floor of the Pfister Hotel downtown.

The bar has been testing a limited menu the past few weeks, and it officially launches its fondue offerings on April 17. An expanded menu is expected later, a spokeswoman said.

For now, Blu will serve beer-cheese fondue ($18) with salted dark rye, apples, vegetables, breadsticks and tenderloin seasoned with rosemary and chile oil for dunking, and Callebaut chocolate fondue ($14) served with house-made marshmallows, cheesecake, fresh and dried fruits, bacon and toffee cookies for dunking.

Fondue will be served until midnight Tuesday to Saturday.
