If you are looking for a party to ring in the New Year in Milwaukee, you have plenty of options. You can head out to a nearby bar for a little celebration of your own or make reservations at a local restaurant of your choice. However, if you want a full-fledged party to welcome 2012, some of the local hotels and other venues provide parties with everything included.

The Sandbar Sports Pub on Pewaukee Lake, west of Milwaukee, features a New Year’s Eve celebration that begins at 7:00 p.m. The cover charge for the party is $25 per person and includes an open bar from 7 until 8:30, as well as hor d’ouervres, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Raffles and prizes will be given away throughout the night. Entertainment is provided by The Johnson’s. Specials for the evening include $6 pitchers of domestic beer, $3 cherry bombs and $6 ultimate nachos. The party ends at 2 a.m.

The Iron Horse Hotel in downtown Milwaukee features its own New Year’s Eve party starting at 9 p.m. and ends at 1 a.m. The party features dancing, a midnight champagne toast and a balloon drop. If you desire VIP seating along with bottle service, contact the Iron Horse Hotel at 1-414-831-4606.

For a fancier affair, the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee will hold its annual New Year’s Eve party. Several packages are available, all of which require fancy attire. The Celebration Package is available for $199 per couple. This package includes dancing, drinks for the evening, a champagne toast at midnight and a dessert bar. For $399 per couple, you can upgrade to the Romance Package, which adds a reception, dinner, two tickets to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and transportation between the concert and the hotel. For an additional $100 per couple, the Overnight Romance Package adds a room in the hotel for the night.
